HOW TO STYLE OVERSIZED HOODIES

The oversized hoodie is the anchor of brutal streetwear. It carries weight, hides nothing, and moves with you. Here is how to wear it the Frostbite way.

1. Fit is the foundation

A true oversized hoodie should drape past the waist, with sleeves that stack at the wrist and a shoulder seam that drops below the natural shoulder. If it fits like a regular hoodie, size up once. For the full Frostbite silhouette — heavy, boxy, almost architectural — size up twice.

2. Balance the volume

Pair a heavy top with a clean bottom. Straight-leg or slightly tapered cargo pants, dark jeans, or fitted shorts keep the look intentional rather than swallowed. Avoid baggy-on-baggy unless you are going full monochrome and want a single flowing shape.

3. Layer with purpose

Throw a longline tee underneath so the hem peeks out. Add a technical or bomber jacket on top when the temperature drops. The hoodie becomes the middle layer — visible at the hood, hem and cuffs — which adds depth without complexity.

4. Footwear anchors the energy

Chunky sneakers, boots, or high-tops work best. The oversized hoodie raises the upper body visually; a solid shoe grounds it. Keep color simple: black, off-white, or a single accent that matches the print.

5. Accessories that do not try too hard

A single chain, a beanie, or a crossbody bag is enough. Oversized streetwear already speaks loudly. The accessories should support the mood, not compete with it.

6. Shop the look

Browse our heavyweight hoodies and matching pieces in the shop. Frostbite drops are limited, so grab the pieces that fit your uniform before they sell out.
